need help to test and check
1.
Is there any damage on the touch surface?
2.
If we will get back one unit, can we replicate the issue for the
returned unit?
3.
If yes, please save the customer’s OS image, and test if our OS
image to the returned unit will have the same problem.
4.
If our OS image is also with the problem. For touch panel,
please try measure the resistance for the cable. To measure the touch
panel, please
i)
Set the multi-meter to the largest scale of resistance.
i)
Measure the resistance between the 1 and 3 pins.
i)
For below conditions, the touch panel is good.
The resistance between the 1 and 3 pin
will be ∞
without touch.
The resistance will be 0 with touch.
For below condition, the touch panel is
failed.
The resistance between the 1 and 3 pin
is not ∞
without touch.
5. If the touch panel is no problem, please try changing the touch
controller to see if the problem is from it.
